Vertex VX-820

Compact size with large functions

Do not be fooled by size. The smallest Vertex Standard equipment is discreet and easy to carry around the clock, and features improved features that are typically not found on computers of this size. The VX-820 series, designed to operate in the most complicated and critical situations, provides the maximum performance of the equipment with a lower total cost and cost of ownership.

Resistance in difficult environments

Rain, snow, fire extinguishers or dust do not pose any problem for these equipment manufactured with strict degrees of protection IP. The VX-820 series complies with the international IP57 waterproof standard, so water will not damage the equipment if it is submerged 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.

Durable power for increased responsiveness

To provide maximum performance, the VX-820 Series offers the option of lithium-ion battery power up to 3,000 mAh for over 20 hours of battery life (according to specifications).

Communication adapted to your needs

Get the best performance in signaling by choosing 2-tone multi-encoding and decoding or 5-tone signaling to accommodate the most advanced communications needs in both individual and collective operations. The front panel also includes a 7-color LED with variable light pattern for custom incoming call alerts.

Security matters: you'll never be alone

When help is needed, the VX-820 series has an emergency notification feature that will switch to a particular channel and send an emergency notification. The equipment also includes the Remote Listen function, which activates the remote equipment if necessary to check what is happening around it.

High volume for noisy environments

With the audio output of 700 mW, you have no doubt that you will hear important information in most situations.

Exclusive automatic range transponder system: ARTS™

Only Vertex Standard equipment is designed to inform you if it is in the same communication range as another ARTS ™ equipped station. If it is out of range for more than 2 minutes, the unit detects that no signal has been received and beeps to alert you. At this point, the base station notifies the field unit to go back and re-enter the range. A great solution to coordinate your workers.
